@CutMyTaxUK Why do something so simple and effective when politicians can use this opportunity for a photo op, announcing some feel-good, convoluted scheme that costs a lot to implement and won't touch the sides?

If Poland is going to slash fuel taxes why can't our Government in Britain do the same? The Polish government will cut VAT & excise levies on fuels by 23p per litre.

@ripplebrain And then the algos that respond to aggressive volume/price swings also kick in to try and ride the insider trading waves they think are going on but aren't partial to 😂

@AlabasterApu It's not looking good all over fren. This all cascades through to everything, higher costs, less money to spend means more jobs lost then cascades though to mortgages etc and everything collapses... Most still don't see that there's a huge risk here.

@Marblechops79 @Sam_Dumitriu So nothing to do with reducing prices or improving energy security then,.. Odd that people would want to make British families more reliant on gas just as the price soars (again)

This applies to the North Sea too. Even if North Sea drilling has no impact on gas prices, domestic production still helps because of the impact on exports/sterling. More gas exports mean a stronger pound and a stronger pound means that all the stuff we import gets cheaper.

🇸🇪🇯🇵 This is Sweden Hills in Hokkaido, Japan. It was built in late 70s early 80s. The residents embrace their love for Swedish traditions, most notably the Midsummer festival held annually in June, where they dress in traditional Swedish clothing. They also host a crayfish party (kräftskiva) in August.
