Most people try to understand Bittensor as “decentralized AI.” I think that framing misses the real point. Bittensor makes more sense as an open market for specialized intelligence: competition, pricing, selection, specialization. More like an economy than a single product.

Thing I learned building invite -> accept -> fund: Every action is a state check BEFORE the DB write. Wrong role? 403 Wrong status? 409 Happy path? transaction (project + milestone + activity log) Backend guards > frontend buttons.

@vanrensbird Hey Martin, thanks for the tip! I'm already using @prisma/adapter-pg version 7.8.0. Is that the "Prisma Postgres" version you're referring to?

Whoa. A Bittensor subnet (60) BEAT FABLE: "Before the US government locked things down, Bitsec jailbroke Fable 5, Anthropic’s hardened security-resistant model, and pointed it at a paying client’s codebase (with permission). Then they ran Bitsec against the same code. Fable 5 found around 60 vulnerabilities, five of them high or medium severity. ****Bitsec found over 160 in total, including five criticals and ten highs that Fable 5 missed entirely,*** and it caught everything Fable 5 caught." taodaily.io/bitsec-sn60-ar…

next stop for us distilling and training our own vision language model Satori 1.0 2B and Satori 0.5B that will run locally, on the edge for our clients a self-contained model across 5 vision primitives: reasoning, behaviour, description, segmentation, detection every skill we build on mechid 1 with miners becomes an expert teacher to the vlm, creating a strong "real world" training flywheel. for those asking themselves, Satori means "awakening" in japanese, and we haven't picked this word lightly. image below is the base model latest performance after the first few days of training based on the initial architecture i've built DeAI till we DIE

Centralized AI companies like @AnthropicAI are more vulnerable to government intervention. Decentralized AI technology like $TAO @opentensor offers an alternative. Bittensor provides open source, permissionless access to AI through a decentralized global network. Following the suspension of Anthropic's AI model, $TAO rallied sharply, climbing 30% in just 12 hours. Read more on this from @LowBeta on the Stack: grayscale.com/the-stack/anth…

Bittensor is perfectly designed for DeSci when a subnet can turn science into a repeatable, adversarial benchmark. That is what $TAO subnet 107 @theminos_ai is doing. Miners compete on real genomic tasks, performance can be measured against hidden ground truth, and the best pipelines get rewarded. This is where Bittensor becomes powerful: not science narratives, but science that can be tested, scored, and improved continuously. Next few months should be insanely bullish for @theminos_ai

The best teachers will be LLMs. The best feedback will be monetary. The best models will train competitively. The best AI company will be co-owned. The best software will be open source. And there is only one way to get all of it.

on sept 15 2008, lehman brothers collapsed and gave the whole world a reason to believe in $BTC on june 12 2026, a single government order forced anthropic to pull its most capable models offline for every foreign national on earth, and gave the whole world a reason to believe in bittensor:native humans only react to negative things. sad but true. in 2008 we learned the banks were the problem. in 2026 we’ll learn that one kill switch sitting inside a centralised AI lab is the problem.
