@stephenpetzke @PixelCNinja They won't crush anything. You can already buy neo geo ports on virtually every console and there were two mini consoles. NGH is for hardcore collectors who want the real deal. The many perfect Shelby Cobra replicas haven't crushed any original's value either.

This is truly amazing and a massive saving for collectors. Personally, I'm tempted to buy the NeoGeo AES+, but honestly find that the MiSTer FPGA core works extremely well at scratching my NeoGeo itch. I may change my mind.

@manabunamiki It isn't available to 90% of the world and is very well received so piracy isn't surprising at all. If it were available on Steam in the west I would pay $60 immediately without a second thought. You lament piracy while gatekeeping your commercial endeavor behind arbitrary locks.

Mal eine Frage in die informierte Runde: Wenn japanische Verkäufer von Hard- und Software die angebotenen Stücke als „Junk“ bezeichnen, heißt es dann zwangsläufig, dass sie defekt sind oder ist bloß der Zustand nicht so besonders, aber alles funktioniert?

@calcran4401 @Theorem_on @CultureCrave I am content to just disagree here. It does negative affect the gameplay because roads make you feel "slow" even at 100kph+ on a city street.. that's the main issue. They could have had 50/50 wide roads for easy races and keep other roads accurate.

@toarcade @Theorem_on @CultureCrave So it's a nit-pick. You're allowed to have them, but not everything is worth addressing the devs. I can see how if the roads were size accurate, it would negatively affect the gameplay, which is most important.

@calcran4401 @Theorem_on @CultureCrave I am not the only one. It's annoying because of the missed opportunity... car selection, tech and vibe are great. It's like I order a lobster and comes with ketchup drizzled on top to please children who may eat it. Sure, I can try to ignore, but you bet it'd be better without.

@toarcade @Theorem_on @CultureCrave Apologize? You're assuming the game will be worse, when likely no one will notice, or care. If you think the game is ruined because the roads aren't 1 to 1 realistic, then other driving simulators exist. There is feedback that improves games, and then there is ignorable nonsense

@calcran4401 @Theorem_on @CultureCrave There are tons of bigger issues, but those are usually business decisions. Progression was broken because they made FH4/5 into a pay-to-win casino. Awful for anyone expecting a fun game that leaves you feeling accomplished, but I'll save my breath because I know it's on purpose.

@toarcade @Theorem_on @CultureCrave I would rather save my feedback for actual, game changing issues. People complained about having too powerful of cars, early. That's an actual issue. When you make every tiny detail an issue, then real issues don't get fixed. Pick your battles. You may just not like the game.

@Theorem_on @CultureCrave It does. They used geo mapping, but I don't doubt the roads are bigger, because it's a video game made for racing and fun, not a tour japan simulator.

So it ends, exactly how it started. The All About SNK mook was the very first japanese book I got a very long time ago. My entire collection is now scanned and preserved, it was a fantastic, long and challenging ride. (1/2)

@TehKeripo Not saying they're in the right, but after watching so many US Customs shows, I completely understand why they tore it apart. Whoever shipped it, packaged it EXACTLY like how drug smugglers package their cocaine.

My Tsukhime Trial Edition (月姫 体験版) finally arrived, one of only 50 copies in the world. Only to discover that US Customs had removed all the bubble wrap and physically destroyed the floppy disk. Will file a report but literally crying right now😭 #TYPEMOON #Tsukihime #月姫
