Mississippi will not be utilizing AI-powered cameras to issue tickets to drivers or spy on motorists, Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell assured in a social media video.

@Lukewearechange I swear the drug industry is just a fed circle jerk, they supply the drug to the street, arrest them and confiscate the drugs, take them out of evidence and sell them back into the street, the same dime bag has probably been wagging around since the 80s

@MarshaBlackburn @SenAmyKlobuchar Glad the uniparty can once again come together to pass more mass surveillance laws, why don’t we go ahead and put a go pro on your whole families forehead for the rest of their lives just to make sure everyone knows what you’re advocating

Last night, the Senate passed my resolution with @SenAmyKlobuchar recognizing today, June 23rd, as Social Media Harms Victim Remembrance Day. I will never stop fighting for parents, children, and families who have lost everything because of Big Tech's greed.

@Hobbyenjoyer59 These private companies already have your data the moment you connect to them. I’m not incurring any additional harm by verifying age.

There is an extreme governmental interest in preventing children from accessing pornography. Sure, it’s helpful if parents do their job, but millions of children will be left behind and exposed to harm. Having a digital adult verification method for pornographic website or websites with other adult content is the least restrictive means. It’s common sense public policy and Texas would be well served by advancing those protections.

SB 2420 DEFINITELY intrudes into 'the relationship between parent and child'. The Texas App Store Accountability Act literally has the government step in and replace what is the responsibility of parents, something that self-proclaimed 'conservatives' purport to be against.

@WadeMiller What an unbearably dishonest argument, literally no one wants that, what they do want is our constitutional rights, a foreign concept to many activists I know but we still have some respect for the founders regardless of the best efforts by people like you.

@GasBuddyGuy Can you explain how the super El Niño will effect oil prices over the summer months in the northern hemisphere? I’ve seen a lot of speculation about irrational markets but not much on how the potential for the most consequential weather system in a century will effect them.

WTI crude oil $69.96/bbl... if this was fall/autumn we'd eventually see the national average $3.25/gal- but RFG/summer gasoline specs and strong crack spreads will mean for now the national average might eventually drop into the mid-$3s. a sub-$3 run is possible around November.

@PunchbowlNews @BenBrodyDC This is an apocalyptically bad idea, these “bipartisan” reps who “represent the American people’s interest” need to have a camera surgically attached to their asshole and it live streamed to the American public, so they know what we feel like all the time

@WadeMiller The road to hell is paved with good intentions, I would love kids to be protected but digital ID is a fast path to tyranny and the most dystopian version of society one can imagine. There is literally no safe way to implement it and the risks are enormous.

@JonSchweppe Age verification is an authoritarian’s wet dream, and it does violate the fourth amendment just like the third party doctrine which the federal government flaunts in our faces and dares us to oppose. This “conservative” government is rife with constitutional violations.

@JonSchweppe The SCREEN Act is Unconstitutional, it violates the 1st and 4th amendments. The SCREEN Act has nothing to do with protecting and all to do with setting the foundation of the mass digital surveillance state
