@sortedcord so imo,Niri >> Hyprland for laptops, but vice versa for larger displays(monitors). I prefer giving the focused window as much screen space as possible instead of having it constantly squeezed by secondary windows. Hyprscroller gets close, but it still has too many bugs for me

see, this was me. But replace Niri with Cosmic. Now I'm on hyprland after I figured my krohnkite fork on kde ain't gonna cut it anymore.
Temidaradev@temidaradev

@peach2k2 @dioxuslabs i will keep switch between kde, niri and hyprland my mood is currently compatible with kde

Saw a resume that got shortlisted by FAANG. Looked at the projects and honestly nothing crazy. Now I’m confused how are people getting hired with projects like these while I see some crazy devs still struggling? Is the bar actually low or is there something else to it.

Instruction tuning has enabled sub-billion parameter models to perform chain-of-thought reasoning. What required 70B parameters two years ago now works at 3B. This is the real efficiency story.

Mass-renaming a variable and feeling like a surgeon until you realize you also renamed it inside a string literal that was a customer-facing label. Find-and-replace is a weapon, not a tool.

@zeddotdev definitely deserves a better DMG installer UI on macOS. VS Code’s drag-to-Applications layout looks cool, Zed’s DMG just drops two icons in a plain Finder window.
