@RanchWife_com We understand your concern. Domain forwarding lets you point one domain to another, but it does not include SSL by default. This may cause browser errors if the forwarded link is accessed via https. To use SSL, the domain needs to be hosted where a certificate can be installed.

If you purchase a domain name with @netsolcares @netsol and add the URL forwarding, it is not SSL. Therefore, in 2025, they are selling a totally non-functional product. It just gives browser errors.

@webdotcom @netsolcares Ha! Fantastic cut off... You renewed my domain 20 days early without giving me any warning, charging me $26 for a year. I suggest this is an underhanded practice at best, and I'll continue to use @123reg or @cloudflare, of which I have never had problems!

@YorkshireTechy @netsolcares There is normally a notification for domain renewals that is sent out 30 days prior to the renewal date.  That goes out to the admin contact that is set in the domain Whois contact.

Instead, today you renewed it automatically 20 days early, costing me $26 without any ANY WARNING, and your support chat staff just say "Tough, it's paid now" Is that good practice? Taking money without an email warning first?

@galluccinet Hi Giovanni, we get it’s frustrating, but the monthly renewal terms have always been clearly outlined in our ToS, which haven’t changed. Your payment on 5/20 covered the missed April cycle. We also applied a discount on the renewal to assist.

Twisting yourself up in pretzels trying to explain your scummy business practices doesn't whitewash the situation. Dotster operated with similarly suspect tactics before you purchased them. Hey @webdotcom @netsolcares — charging customers retroactively for services they intentionally disabled is sleazy. I paid to re-enable web forwarding TODAY. You applied the fee to LAST MONTH. Just like @Dotster used to do before you bought them. Same shady, customer-last BS. Any honest registrars left?

@galluccinet Hi, upon checking the service was not renewed upon expiration and remained inactive. When you attempted to resume use a month later, the billing for the missed period was still outstanding. the service operates on a monthly billing cycle, payments are required for each billing-
