What about his role in the Japanese internment. In one fell swoop, FDR snatched the First, through Tenth Amendment rights of about 125,000 Japanese Americans, two thirds of them citizens, without even a hint of due process.
He was also acting in opposition to the 1936 Neutrality Act in World War II, which means he was bent on getting America into the war.
It is widely known that he knew about "Pearl Harbor" before it happened.
