Tuchel was brought in to change the negative approach, make England more proactive in possession, and finally unlock the quality this team has. So far, he hasn’t delivered that. He should stop trying to gaslight us into believing the criticism is about togetherness or effort. Nobody is questioning the players’ commitment or the dressing room atmosphere. The criticism is about the football. England still look cautious, predictable, and too comfortable surrendering control in big moments. With the talent available, fans expect more than just being competitive, they expect a clear identity, better attacking patterns, and a team that imposes itself on opponents. Taking responsibility in a press conference is commendable, but accountability has to be reflected on the pitch. Results matter, but so does the manner in which you achieve them.
