This perfectly sums up the Arsenal fan base. If someone critiques their player and says they're not world class, their response is to waffle absolute shit about 2 genuine world class midfielders. Calling Souness a stopper is a simple way of admitting you never saw him play.

There’s nothing this squad achieved that they didn’t already achieve under Southgate. Tuchel was brought in to change the negative approach, make England more proactive in possession, and finally unlock the quality this team has. So far, he hasn’t delivered that.
He should stop trying to gaslight us into believing the criticism is about togetherness or effort. Nobody is questioning the players’ commitment or the dressing room atmosphere. The criticism is about the football.
England still look cautious, predictable, and too comfortable surrendering control in big moments. With the talent available, fans expect more than just being competitive, they expect a clear identity, better attacking patterns, and a team that imposes itself on opponents.
Taking responsibility in a press conference is commendable, but accountability has to be reflected on the pitch. Results matter, but so does the manner in which you achieve them. Right now, the football hasn’t shown enough progress to justify replacing Southgate, and that’s why people are asking questions.
