In other words, the models are burdened by too many parameters, unknown unknowns abound (threatening the validity of predictions), and paying for specialized, domain-specific predictive AIs is often required to make meaningful progress. These challenges will continue to be significant obstacles as the fields of computational biology and AI evolve.
