@JoshButler @meadea ABCSydney Radio sacked a beloved institutional Radio host Simon Marnie and replaced equally admired Sarah McDonald with a part-time host in TenNews Hamish McDonald. Make it make sense???

@AntonyGreenElec Heard you on 702 yesterday saying numbering only 1 in 1 box would be an informal vote in a Fed election. But also heard an AEC spokesperson on 702 before election say that if that type of vote was clear and showed intent, it would count. I am confused?

@EtairosFinance2 Did Andrew Hastie say 'We should be talking to indigenous and immigrant australians.....because they are "aspirational". What on earth does that mean?
English

@29devine They said Australians didn't vote for them because Australians were stupid.
English

#4corners that was solid gold. Each and every Liberal just repeated why nobody voted for them. No new thoughts. Couldn't even coordinate the messaging.

@TonyHWindsor @ABCmediawatch The absolute best presenter was Simon Marnie. He had so much knowledge around natural disasters and communities, not just for Sydney and surrounds. I find it so hard to to believe he was disposable in the way he was.
English

Full marks @ABCmediawatch for shining a light on the ABC Chairman’s role on day to day operations of local radio.
New England ABC doesn’t need Kim Williams advice on operational matters …perhaps he should read a Directors book on Governance.

Does the Liberal Party even google the candidates they run?
The Libs ran the VERY SAME guy in McMahon in 2022 and he gave them grief for questionable online behaviour then too.

@australian Nothing. But still Labor is fronting up every day for you.

Opinion: Surely we are capable of better than this: a limp discussion among second-rate people of second-order issues – such as who can offer the biggest handout – is the sure sign of a nation in decline: bit.ly/3EHJSk0

Peter Dutton will pledge to better prepare Australia for future geostrategic threats by spending an additional $21 billion between now and 2030, which would be almost double Labor's planned increase to the defence budget. ab.co/3YaIoFM
