What is this new ₹1,435 crore PAN card "jumla" of the Modi Govt? There's a new PAN 2.0 program announced by the Govt where 78 crore Indians will have to upgrade their existing PAN cards to a "new card with a QR code". Here's my PAN card printed in 2020 (4 years ago). As you can clearly see, it already has a QR code on it. 👉 What exactly then is over ₹1,435 crores of taxpayer money being spent on? 👉 If PAN cards from 2020 already had QR codes, what is "new" about this white elephant project? 👉 MOST IMPORTANTLY - Which company has been given the lucrative ₹1,435 contract for this new "PAN 2.0" project? After constantly taxing the middle-class on everything, crores are now being spent on this ridiculous gimmick. Over 78 crore PAN holders will be forced to get new cards. Finance Minister @nsitharaman ji should come clean with actual details of this project & why people are being put through inconvenience again.

I stated these from my POV since I was an ardent Samsung loyalist till Note20 series (last of its line) then I switched to Apple ecosystem and loved the simplicity.

Respectfully disagree, boss. 1. Samsung also has a similar feature. I think it's called voice focus. 2. Vivo and Xiaomi say hi. 3. Samsung's cloud works just as fine, if not better. 4. Everyone has a preference for their own 'bullshit'. Some hated the lack of customisation, some loved the simplicity. Point is, the option for customisation never hurts. And again, keeping all these points aside, 'Day to Day' features vary from person to person. For example, I know people who now find every other display other than the S24U's to be inferior. Why? Anti reflective coating. 'Preference' is a broad spectrum which can't be classified into black and white. To each his/her own 🙌

Indian tourists still visiting, but soon likely to ditch it as word spreads about exploitation of tourists while there are so many cheaper comparable locations abroad

Seamless cloud synchronisation 4. Till iOS 18 it was no bullshit phone with negligible customisations

Brand value is the biggest incentive for switching to iPhone. The mass market largely knows Samsung for its Zoom, which is cool, but doesn't elevate your social status in the public - something which is very necessary in our Indian society. I know people who don't like the iPhone's style of photos, complain about the heating issues, etc. Yet still, they continue to own one and even plan to upgrade to an iPhone, just because it helps them stay relevant in their respective social circle.
