Dopamine transmutation: That urge is simply energy looking for direction. Use it to your advantage. The same chemical spike you chase through quick pleasure can be redirected into focus, creativity, and momentum. When you resist the impulse and act with intention, your brain learns delayed reward and self-trust. And remember: You will fail multiple times. The key is to keep trying, again and again, until eventually you'll have controlled that urge. It took you years to develop the habit, it'll take just as long to get rid of completely.

@rumilyrics You can also stimulate neuroplasticity through: > Learning new hard skills like an instrument, language or a sport. > Challenging your memory through games. Use human benchmark. > Meditation to strengthen the attention networks. Stick to one and keep at it.

You have to reduce friction. How you do this is by designing your environment so the right action is the easiest one to take and the wrong action feels inconvenient. And most importantly, remove the need to rely on how you feel, because consistency built on emotion will always collapse.

Your beliefs are installed. Your paradigm is imprinted. Your thoughts are programmed. Until you spend time in silence so that you can peel away the layers of conditioning, you will repeat the same patterns, mistakes, and outcomes.

People interpret through their own lens, shaped by their fears, wounds, and assumptions. Meaning: Even those closest to you can misunderstand your intentions, dreams, or feelings. Trust isn’t the same as understanding. Someone can be loyal but still not truly see you. And, in trying to protect you, loved ones may discourage or control you without meaning harm.

Most people, including your family, will only respect you to the degree that you can benefit them. Love is conditional, loyalty has limits, and your value to others fluctuates with your circumstances. The people who claim to have your back will disappear when you're struggling and reappear when you're winning. Your parents' advice often reflects their fears instead of your potential. Your friends will celebrate your small wins but feel threatened by your big ones. Once you accept that you're alone in this life, you stop seeking validation from people who can't give it consistently. You build your own foundation instead of standing on other people's promises. You become selective about who gets access to your time, energy, and resources. Paradoxically, when you stop needing people, the right ones show up.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MANLY P HALL One of the greatest writers of all time. One of the greatest orators of all time. One of the greatest scholars of all time. And one of the greatest philosophers of all time. To be just ONE of those four things, would be sufficiently impressive by itself. But to be all of four of them at once, you’re looking at a freak 1 in 1,000,000,000 individual. The definition of generational talent. He wrote over 200 books and gave over 8000 lectures in his lifetime. His magnum opus, The Secret Teachings of All Ages, a synthesis of thousands of obscure, ancient, and esoteric sources... is one of the most exhaustive occult compendiums ever produced. The most impressive thing about it? MPH published it at just 27 years old. I find this simultaneously tremendously inspiring and infuriating. I struggled to read it because I was burdened by this fact, in much the same way as when you're watching a really complicated movie and are thinking "How did they even film this?" and it interferes with your ability to just enjoy it. Even worse still, he published The Secret Teachings of All Ages in 1928. No internet. Libraries. Archives. Letters. Note-taking. Both the contents of the book, and the conditions that it was written in, are astounding to contemplate. Just brutal, his career defined by the sheer violence of sustained intellectual labour totalling in the tens of thousands of hours of single-minded dedication toward his craft. God Bless Manly Palmer Hall. Perhaps you can allow this post to serve as an inspiration, encouragement, and reminder, to absorb yourself in his works. Start with The Secret Teachings of All Ages. And do not try to speed-read through it. Go slowly, with a highlighter. When you come across a word or concept that you are unfamiliar with, pause, acquaint yourself with it, and then resume going through the tome. Chew slowly. Chew mindfully. This is the proper way.

Best way to start fasting is by gradually increasing your fasting window. Instead of jumping straight into a long fast, start by slowly extending the time between your last meal at night and your first meal the next day. Begin with 16 hours, then 24 and then 36. Once you've got that done, try to do a 24 hour fast at least once a month And then start increasing the duration from there. Remember to break your fast with something light like bone broth.

The skill of awareness. This is the decider between a shit life and an average life. And that's because most people are unconscious at the wheel of life, accepting whatever is handed to them. Awareness lets you catch your own patterns in real time instead of repeating them for years. It creates a gap between stimulus and reaction, which is where all real control over your life actually exists. Once you start seeing clearly, you start living intentionally.

It depends on what you did in your 20s. If you spent your former years improving yourself, developing skills, and building the habit of relentless action, then your 30s are usually the best decade of your life since you’d have figured out your values and built momentum behind them. But if your 20s were spent drifting, your 30s tend to feel like pressure catching up.

@Nithya_Shrii There are NO benefits to flaunting how much money you have. None. You will only inspire jealousy, anger, and envy into the people you surround yourself with And you never truly know who these people are... until it's too late. Keep it to yourself.

The EASIEST way to get rich is to sell transformations. Everything you buy is the result of going from A to B. People pay for the version of themselves they become after using it. The fat guy wants to get fit. The poor guy wants to get rich. The lonely guy wants to get a girlfriend. Sell the transformation and you'll never go broke.

Study why selling to a woman is easier. Study why big companies hire men with kids and in debt. Study why the rich donate money to their local churches. Study why celebrities are glorified and worshipped. You'll understand why it is easier to; 1. Sell men lust 2. Sell women beauty 3. Sell parents peace 4. Sell kids dreams 5. Sell the rich safety 6. Sell the broke hope Literally, It's the same game but different packaging.

Being focused in your life can be as easy as implementing a routine. To have no routine is to be enslaved by the daily distractions bombarding your day. Figure out if you work better in the morning or at night. Start work at the same time every single day. Positively reinforce the act of working by rewarding yourself after completing the task. It's often the simple things that work best.
