Dr. Satpal Singh Badsara, Department of Chemistry, Institute of Science, and Dr. Chandana Basu Mallick, Centre for Genetic Disorders, Institute of Science, have been selected for the membership of the prestigious National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), for the year 2025.

Dr Basu joins the committee steered by 10 outstanding scientists from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Dr Chandana Basu, currently working in Centre for Genetic Disorders @bhupro is a population geneticist focusing on using human genetic variation as a tool to understand biological traits, adaptation, and diseases. @DrJitendraSingh @rajesh_gokhale
