@sentdefender This prick is emboldening Putin and giving him a shot on the baltics. Fml why can’t he understand that NATO is a defensive organisation and this paper tiger ran to his countries aid when it was attacked. Fuck Trump.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump told The Telegraph that he is strongly considering pulling the United States out of NATO after it failed to join his ongoing war against Iran, stating that the alliance is a “paper tiger” and that this is known by Russia and President Vladimir Putin.

@Note2Kim75 @h2av8tor @BillMelugin_ It's just that Congress is entirely useless and has been useless for a long time. It was the Dems during Obama administration who were the last effective Congress when they rammed through everything they possibly could.

Remarkable. The Biden administration created out of thin air a pathway on a cell phone app for roughly 900,000 migrants from around the world to bypass the Rio Grande and enter the U.S. at ports of entry. Trump revoked their legal status on day one. A federal judge now says no.
ABC News@ABC

The Trump administration must restore the legal status of potentially hundreds of thousands of immigrants who came to the United States legally through a Biden-era pathway, a federal judge ruled Tuesday. abcnews.link/iAn9X3o

@fuzzywuzzyzz @nicko_schofield @ShamsCharania If this were the case, we would see it happening already with players in the league already. The best teams in the league now and for the foreseeable future are all small market teams because of the draft and salary cap. They're the ones exploiting. Get rid of the draft.

@nicko_schofield @ShamsCharania Just big "NO" from all small market... lakers type teams will offer payments "in other way".For small markets draft always was the place where they could get young upcomming stars. Like small markets cant get free agents in free agency, same would be with draft kids

The NBA presented three comprehensive anti-tanking concepts to its Board of Governors on Wednesday, with modifications expected to each before a formal vote in May, per ESPN sources. 1. 18 teams in draft lottery (seeds 7-15 in each conference) – flattened odds, with bottom 10 teams having an 8% chance, the remaining 20% odds distributed in decreasing order for 11 through 18, and and a lottery drawing for all 18 picks. 2) 22 teams in lottery using 2-year record (seeds 7-15, plus the four playoff first round exits in both conferences). Lottery teams would reach a minimum win total floor in each season, such as 25 wins. If a team falls short of the floor, it gets slotted to meet the floor. Top 4 drawn as part of lottery, as is currently. 3) 18 teams in a "5 by 5" lottery – bottom 5 teams have equal odds for the top pick, with lottery formed for picks 1-5. Bottom 5 teams have a floor at 10; those that fall out of top 5 get sorted in a separate drawing.

@vihtoritw @nicko_schofield @ShamsCharania There's salary caps in the NBA. There aren't salary caps in prem league which is why it's a problem of parity. Having a draft with lottery makes no sense, except for corrupt purposes, when you have a salary cap.

@nicko_schofield @ShamsCharania Thats awful. Less desired destinations would need to pay so much more for talent whilst being the smallest markets. After a couple of years you would have a couple dominant teams that will not drop ever again. Just like the premier league. Man city has won 6 of 8 seasons.

@mcuban The problem with that is that I'm supposed to just blindly trust the AI summary is correct and not some hallucination or misinterpretation of the contract. It isn't going to replace reading the contract itself go know what's in there exactly.

You are not smart if you don’t run your insurance contracts through Claude or any other LLM and ask for a summary and issues you will face Doesn’t matter if you are the employee or the employer or buying an ACA , Medicare , MA or Medicaid plan. Get that summary and suggestions. Ask it questions and to explains, simply, the things you don’t understand. There are no more excuses

@mcuban I don't know a single person who has read and understands their health insurance policies. THAT is also a problem.

@mcuban You act like a washing machine, dishwasher, and fridge are 1000 square feet. No homes getting any larger by removing those for "actual human living space." Those appliances themselves support these spaces you're talking about. Homes.

No. I’m saying in 10 years , this is how new houses will be built. Less acreage. Less internal square footage. More actual human living space. Far easier to maintain and lower maintenance costs. Less cost to build. That’s why we will go in this direction.
David Mavis@DavidMavis11

@tbpn @mcuban There will be a few homes built that way, but the existing housing stock still has to be serviced, He is pretending we would somehow remodel 100 million dwellings instead of using a robot that can function in those existing buildings

.@mcuban says humanoid robots won't last more than 5-10 years. Instead, we'll "design the house to fit the robot, and design the robot to fit the house." "You could create a house where the pantry, the refrigerator, and the washing machines were hidden behind the garage, if you even have a garage. That way you could redesign the house so that all the living space was for people."

@hughhewitt @LindseyGrahamSC It's actually starting to look insane that we have tens of thousands of our soldiers sitting there in Europe ready to die defending them no questions asked but when we ask for just a couple ships to help out they turn their nose up to us.

When @LindseyGrahamSC and other Reagan conservatives voice doubts over value of “European allies,” the moment is at hand for Europe to choose. I hope they do so wisely.
Lindsey Graham@LindseyGrahamSC

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.
