I understand he is now on a long list of centre-backs. But Chelsea are yet to approach his agent or Crystal Palace to open talks.
Feedback from club sources is that it's possible agent talk, trying to push his client's name ahead of others. No movement from Chelsea.
Also, let's be clear. The club can be less interested in a player today and change entirely tomorrow. The list is open to changes. It's not cast in stone. That's how it goes.
