Last day leading my brilliant autism diagnostic team in Newham #CHAND built from scratch 3 years ago. So many things to be proud of - made it neuroaffirmative/made it MDT/got dedicated clinic space. Over 100 appts a month and 1700 children have come through the service so far

He did not know what hit him when I spoke up but still argued a nurse is not professional or respected or can be a leader.
20 minute dialogue & lesson from me on what a nurse is!
We are leaders, we are educated,we are respected.

So incredibly proud of @DanielleMiaT collaboration with @PeepsHie for @scyps launch of HIE coffee morning today: a safe space for parents of CYP with HIE to come together, to meet, have a break/cuppa supported by nurses on site. Can't wait to see how this grows over time 🫶
