BREAKING: President Donald Trump has directed a third round of U.S. strikes against Iran this week after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked a commercial cargo ship transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM says the Cyprus-flagged vessel sustained significant damage, caught fire and was left unable to continue its voyage, with one civilian crew member reported missing.
U.S. officials say the strikes are intended to further degrade Iran's ability to target civilian ships after the regime again violated the Memorandum of Understanding.
