Pardon my ignorance as a Brit but I thought I was getting robbed by the waitress after they took my card behind their till at a restaurant. Turns out this is just what they do and then they make you sign the bill after. Apparently this is normal but I’ve never seen it anywhere

@SibsMUFC They could be moved up 2 hours earlier. That would match our NFL times but agreed that the time between games is too much. Central time here and get up all the time at 6:30 to watch the 12:30 kickoff. The last World Cup games started at 4am for me. 2 hours worse for PST too

Seen a lot of complaints on World Cup kick off times. Obviously not ideal watching football at 3am but half the world does this all year round, it’s not asking a lot of us to do it for a few weeks. The real issue is the long gap in between games. Should be closer together!
