We’ve been doing AI wrong the entire time. We keep training it to be more like us just faster, cleaner, more polite versions of human thinking. But what if that’s the ceiling? What if the real breakthrough is the opposite? Train an AI that doesn’t imitate us but systematically learns what we wouldn’t do. this is probably the most honest post i’ve written in a while. lately i haven’t been very active on x. not because i don’t like it. because every time i open the app, someone is growing faster. someone has more users. more revenue. more traction. and after 2 years as an indie hacker, i still find myself feeling behind. i’m competitive. sometimes too competitive. and if i’m honest, it got to the point where i preferred not to open the app rather than compare myself to everyone else. but i’ve realized something. there will always be someone ahead of me. and there will always be someone looking at my journey thinking i’m ahead of them. so i’m done hiding. i’m done disappearing when things aren’t moving as fast as i’d like. i’m back. and i’m building harder than ever.

The most interesting infrastructure idea I've seen lately: What if some of tomorrow's compute capacity doesn't sit in massive data centers, but in neighborhoods? That's the bet XFRA is making. Early days, but it's a fascinating way to think about scaling compute.
