I’ve been maxing out my contributions heavily, investing ~£170k so far. This single account is now larger than my entire total portfolio back in 2018. Workplace pensions, SIPP and ISA are one of the most powerful wealth creation tools available in the UK. Taking that £170k as net salary instead would have left me with just around £95k in hand after tax.
