I will tell you what happened. You are not allowed to defend yourself against attackers. It makes no sense to have a survival game in which you cant defend yourself. People dont want to run away from attackers in survival games, people want to be able to fight their attackers to defend themselves. If you are not allowed to defend yourself against an attacking entity in a survival game, than your game is woke and is teaching suicidal empathy. This game is going to flop on full release. Non-buy-nary.
Survival Game News@SurvivalGN

What happened to Subnautica 2? The game peaked at almost 500k players on launch day and lost 70% of its player base within a week.

The average woman today has slept with more men by 25 than her grandmother did in her entire life. Then wonders why pair bonding is dead. 💀 🤯

@upstatefederlst The headline will be like: "10 year old woman ringleader seduces group of foreign engineers and is now being charged with prostitution ." The facts of the case be like: "The men drove around the neighborhood in a white van with (free candy) painted on the side."

I always default to thinking that the headlines are sensationalized and then I read the facts of the case and it's even worse than the headline suggests.

Your underthinking it I think. RFQ stuff is mostly irrelevant here. Request for Quote is a formal procurement process used in government/commercial bidding for larger contracts. It's not some universal standard that every small residential landscaper must follow when talking to a homeowner. Your simply name dropping business jargon to sound authoritative.

A lawn care company owner shows up at a house to talk about landscaping work and ends up dealing with an 83-year-old homeowner who keeps demanding to know the hourly rate. The owner calmly explains that they don’t charge by the hour — they price based on the scope of the job because it accounts for more than just time, like equipment, materials, expertise, crew size, and cleanup. Most professional landscaping companies work this way because it’s cleaner for both sides and rewards efficiency. The man keeps pressing for a breakdown anyway, even as his wife stands there listening and occasionally smacking him with an Amazon package she's holding for being rude. 😭 The owner stays professional and tells him he’ll send over a formal quote in the next couple of days, but the customer gets more and more frustrated until he finally says, “I’m 83 years old, man… I’ve done a lot of business in my life, and this is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.” When you’re getting quotes for work, do you prefer a flat price upfront, or do you like seeing everything broken down by the hour?

Some customers value their time and would rather a job got done in two hours instead of eight, where as a less seasoned person would get it done in eight hours because they're slow or they dont have a "system" to get it done quicker. A professional that knows how to get the job done might get an 8 hour job done in two. He can start the next job and save the homeowner time, who exactly is losing? When you run your own business, you are the owner who gets to decide the bid and if the customer is to pay a flat rate. The customers can figure out the math on their own if they want to stand around and watch. Or they can always take their business elsewhere.

@CoryRayGordon @itscoleonx @end3of6days9 Not true.. on jobs that are labor jobs (not skill) like weeding and mulching there isn’t a cost benefit to hire “experience” unless you are putting in a retaining wall or something like that…

I don’t think people want pure capitalism or pure socialism. People just want to afford rent. Go to the doctor without fear. Have clean streets, good schools, decent wages, and still have freedom. The happiest countries on earth figured out that balance matters. Too much greed destroys people. Too much control does too. Most normal people are just asking for a system that actually lets them live.

Chairman Thomas Hicks should be removed from the Election Assistance Commission. At yesterday's @HouseAdmin Committee hearing, I asked Chairman Hicks directly what steps the EAC has taken to ensure that non-citizens are not voting. His answer was that the EAC "can't do anything" and it's entirely a state issue. This is not only evasive but also directly contradicts President Trump's Executive Order, which explicitly directs the EAC to require documentary, government-issued proof of U.S. citizenship on federal voter registration forms. The President has given the EAC a clear mandate to ensure only Americans vote in our elections. Chairman Hicks appears unwilling to fulfill it. That is disqualifying.

@Cold_Brewd @PancakesRevenge @spikesguides Today's casual public posts become tomorrow's easily parsed personal dossiers. People should think twice about oversharing (or businesses publicizing) customer details. It's a practical heads up, not paranoia, especially as AI surveillance capabilities grow.

I guess I have to reply to every one of you people. EVENTUALLY. Just because the tech isn't available right this second doesn't mean tomorrow you're not gonna be documented for every purchase you ever bought. If someone is able to just unilaterally able to decide that they can reveal your purchase history publicly on social media, then we're all in for some big fn trouble when AI can parse that information into IDENTIFYING information.
