@talkcentss Those are the numbers when inflation is 5%. I strongly suspect inflation is closer to 10% pa depending on what you earn and how you spend it. I really don't know how people live earning less than R10,000 per month.

@bitcoin_dad Absolutely, without a fundamental understanding of Bitcoin, politics, economics and history holding through the pullbacks when there is blood on the streets is very difficult. Education and understanding is key.

My Bitcoin story is pure luck. First I luckily worked my ass off to earn a high income. Then I luckily spent all my free time learning about the history of money and distributed systems. Then I luckily took all my money and invested it into bitcoin. Then luckily I convinced my wife to live on 25% of our income while we put the rest into bitcoin. Then I luckily didn’t go on vacation or buy nice things for years. Then luckily everyone laughed at me / told me how wrong I was Then I luckily sold my car and drove a shitty fucking moped to stack more sats. Then I luckily suffered through multiple 80% drawdowns. Then I luckily doubled down at the bottoms. Then I luckily persisted for a decade. Pure luck all of it. Thank god I’m lucky. If I wasn’t I’d be totally fucked.
