@MysteryMartianX @Al_in_TX @NotLikeMonopoly @EX31Kev @fesshole I’m a M365 Admin, everything can be accessed, so use work accounts accordingly. It’s not really common to do so, but be aware that admins (with the right permissions) can access all data.

Work in IT for a big company. For security reasons everyone's company phone is backed up to our corporate cloud. We tell people this in their induction and send reminders. We have over 3000 images of colleagues dicks, vaginas, and other body parts. People are nasty.

@GergelyOrosz Or apps like LinkedIn sending endless notifications. You then adjust the notification settings and it stops for about a week. Then they start bombarding you again with new notifications 🤷‍♂️

@GergelyOrosz I would normally delete apps like this. Last app I deleted was Ali Express as it was sending me like 10 notifications a day + emails, and I never bought anything from there. Not sure why they feel like they can bombard anyone’s phone like this.

This thing happens at almost every company that hires a marketing or growth team. This team then: - Abuses emails (meant for customer comms) to fire out marketing material like this: most customers see as spam - Abuses push notifications to send stuff most customers see as spam

Note to self - create a new “Location” in ABM and then you can transfer those apps to that location. This will remove the Apple applications from Software Management.

Admins, how do you remove applications from an Apple Business Manager MDM server? The OneDrive app from the App Store doesn’t really have all the features and I want to remove it from ABM but can’t find a way to do it @Apple

@AdamGrossTX We have the new Surfave Laptop with Copilot and it seems to be working fine. Only issue is that we could not get Adobe Reader instaledl on it 🤷‍♂️

Working on testing new Copilot+ PC running Snapdragon ARM64 and enrolling into Intune. I seem to have some config or policy that's causing me to get a black screen after logging in and it sits there for 5+mins before getting to Windows desktop. I am also unable to runas admin - nothing ever happen - no UAC prompts ever. And I can't launch any MMC consoles, most Windows store apps don't want to launch either. I was able to boot into recovery and load the registry hive disable UAC and that fixed all the app launch and runas admin issues, but still black screen before desktop. Wondering what policy/app could be killing this box. So odd. I know there are going to be hurdles with ARM, but this is a fun start for sure! Anyone got any tips on where to start looking? @WindowsSupport @MSIntune @IntuneSuppTeam

@ajmeese7 @N805DN Because they’re both yearly commitments. One is paid is one go, the other monthly, but the commitment is still 1 year.

@mniehaus @woodyinwoodley Thanks for this. I moved 2 of my devices to Windows 11. One is working as expected but in the second device I’m the Admin 😑. Time to troubleshoot

@woodyinwoodley The other less-than-desirable side effects: - You'll get prompted for security/privacy settings. - The user will always get admin rights. - HAADJ and self-deploying won't work.

This seems to be a consistent problem too: Boot Windows 11 into OOBE on an Autopilot-registered with no network, plug in the Ethernet when prompted, OOBE installs a critical update (KB5033055) but doesn't reboot, device doesn't get Autopilot profile. Force a reboot and it works.

For the last few weekends, I've been building a real-time music visualizer on top of @soundxyz_ API. I built it with @threejs, using almost the full arsenal from @pmndrs. Here's a sneak peek of its capabilities with my favorite @hi_mija track... (SOUND ON)

There are other solutions I found such as using ‘clip-path’ but I’m using Tailwind and they don’t support clip-path, so I worked with what I had.

Pt1 - create a div and skew it. But how do I cover that top-left side of the image? Pt2 - Cowboy solution 🤠. Add another div, with 50% of the width. Final results 2nd image and code 3rd image.

@willmcgugan @code I noticed this happening to me in the last couple of days. I’ve been noticing random dots whenever I’m typing and I thought my keyboard went mad. Must be something new with the last macOS update as it never happened to me before.

What is going on here? Why is @code inserting a dot in this string? I'm only typing space and delete. It's clearly auto-complete because it only inserts it at that point. But what is it auto-completing? 🤷‍♂️

Ok nevermind. Got myself an Ubuntu VM on GCP and everything worked as expected. I think the problem was on my Raspberry Pi.

What’s the latest Python version I can use with Apache2 for a Django project? When I use Python 3.11, Apache2 throws an error with the wsgi file. The same project but with Python 3.7 works fine.
