IDK if this is the most optimal but it's what I'm running and has done well for me Xerneas bullies most things, Gyarados protects Xerneas from Steel, Excadrill protects Gyarados from Electric. Skarmory can be annoying but you can only cover so much

Logging off again after posting this. Just hit Rank A in Z-A battle club season 02 after 2-ish hours of playing. It definitely got harder to rank up but rewards are def better. Here are the teams I used to reach rank A, Xerneas and Mega Delphox is a broken duo together.
