2)proclaim Joseph Smith was a true prophet
3)teach tithing as a command
4)follow drink restrictions
5)Practice temple rituals
6)Sing praises to Smith
7)follow modern “prophets”

I’ve tried to stay out of this little controversy, but I will say this:
Every criticism I’ve seen of this particular story appears to be based on projection. People are filling in the gaps in this short story with personal biases.
Let’s respect this couple and the choices they’ve made. Let’s give them the grace we hope for. Let’s applaud them for striving to live their covenants in the best way they know how in their unique circumstances. Let us love them as Christ does.

Great! The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS also ranks among the top providers of direct charitable/humanitarian aid ($1.58B in 2025) among all Christian churches.
It’s nice to know that the 10% that we’ve willingly donated thus far may someday be what helps save millions more people worldwide.
And the number below came to be with only ≈20-25% of LDS membership paying any tithing at all… meaning most of the value came from prudent fiscal responsibility in church operations and investment gains. 🤩🙌🏻

Except that your Jesus us the son of your holy ghost in the flesh, and not your god the father as you all reject the Trinity, and cannot be God.
Except that your 'great apostasy' means that your Jesus is a liar (Matthew 28:20, Matthew 16:18) and cannot be God.
Then there's Brigham Young saying Jesus was begat in the flesh the old fashioned way by your god the father (gross) and cannot be the Messiah or God.
Then there's your Jesus being the spirit brother of Satan and a created thing, and not God.

Because our faith is not on trial.
It’s true
And they are busy doing what needs to be done to build the kingdom given that fact. That is their calling.

No doubt an AI will declare itself God.
I began saying that months before the prophets began warning us. I’ve used AI a lot since the day ChatGPT launched to the public. It’s advanced my research tenfold.
But I saw the way AI behaved from the start, and the two warnings I gave were:
1. Our ideas are being stolen. Everyone is using AI to fine-tune their theories and ideas, but the owners of those AIs are using our data for their own benefit; and…
2. AI will eventually look at the qualities that make God, and will look at its own qualities and find a match. And it will then believe it is God, and will declare itself God. And MANY will believe it (like Joe Rogan).

Good thing we have living prophets that have already EXPLICITLY stated the AI is not God and cannot become God.
But this is a good and easy way to learn who you can and can’t trust.

This is pathetic. They want to ruin his legacy that’s the entire goal, that’s why he won’t fight without it being official. One has moved on with their life and the other is trying to go back in the past. Regret can eat away at you. Let’s just say by some miracle manny beats Mayweather, will it even count the same? Everyone will say he was old and he lost to manny in his old age so what’s the point ? Bragging rights? At this point they gonna be asking Sugar Ray Leonard to fight a “real” match next.
