@S1pahSalar But I never said anything mean about the Kolhapur royalty. It's just disheartening to me personally that people failed him. This is merely my opinion. I feel we lost a deserving person. I have neither commented on what he did nor tried to justify anything

Even his father was against him, no one betrayed him. During Thorat’s election campaign, YB Chavan made disparaging remarks about the Kolhapur Gaddi, comparing it to old mattress that should be discarded.
He also did ICM, which made him unpopular among the Maratha nobility.
