@Jonathansams7 Fair points. I just wish we could see some articles that are also 'here is how you can use AI' instead of just doom and gloom. Because I agree – it's a super helpful tool so long as you know how to use it well.

@Itsdotdev Yes, I think those are great resources, but not as the primary It comes down to order of operations imo I use the same argument to push back against people who argue against any use of AI. I think AI is a helpful tool, just not to be over-relied on

.@midjourney could increase their revenue by offering an API. One of the few AI companies that doesn't. Might be principled, but the result is that it only exists through third parties.

I had used up my Codex quota, so for the first time in a long while, I installed Gemini CLI and tried using it. My first impression was the flickering issue and the cluttered UI, and on the very first turn with Gemini 3 Flash, it crashed with an error saying the input context limit had been exceeded. All I did was ask about an issue in my codebase...

Okay seriously. The folks disappointed with a Firefly revival because it's animated. Do you not realize how incredible a medium animation is for sci-fi? Have you not seen Titan AE? Or Treasure Planet? Americans have such absurd biases against animation when many, MANY properties would be better served being animated. 🙄 (I mean the revival will probably be bad, but animation won't be the reason...)
