Texans are signing OL Derrick Graham to fill the roster spot that opened with cutting Sidy Sow via @AaronWilson_NFL. Graham played 118 snaps under Cole Popovich in 2022 at Troy with most coming as a 6th lineman. He transferred to Tulane in 2024 where he played almost entirely at LT.

I think Houston is likely to take this roster to camp and see how certain positions shake out such as DE.
The hope would be that one of the younger options impress and you can roll with this roster while allowing the money they currently have to roll over into 2027.

@coachdent Garrett is probably 4x better than Verse if not more, they could have gotten a better package than just Verse + 1st and probably some day 3 picks.

And it is more than one 1st rd pick. It will be at least one more pick, perhaps 2. The Rams say F them picks, so I would lean towards 2.
The Browns haven't won anything with Garrett. So why not get something & cap savings?

Texans had the Browns on their schedule this year in week 10 and now will not face Myles Garrett.
I also think this probably helps WAJ DPOY case with Garrett/Rams probably giving him more reps off and focusing on winning.
