Eons of Battle just suggested that the Melta keyword means a unit has to be "wholly within" half range, so his 12" Sunforged guns have an effective 4" Melta range. I am frothing at the mouth and shaking my fist at the TV.

@goobermaxing @ReviewsPossum That's honestly wild, Necrons are just about the most beginner-friendly army of them all. They were really trying to get you to play Space Marines I guess

@ReviewsPossum Tried to play Warhammer at LGS. Told to do research and choose and army based on what I liked. I told them I wanted to get started on building a Necron army. I was told I couldn't choose them and had to start with something simpler. Never got to play.

@NostalgicLemon People who claim talking about the controls is backseating are especially foul. I once pointed out to someone who was playing cuphead and running into enemies trying to aim diagonally that there was a button for it and their mod timed me out and gave me a warning in dms.

@TheRealTohm @CollinRugg The issue unfortunately isn't censoring for sensitivity, it's because posts containing those words get pushed down in the algorithm, and less people see it. So essentially they censor ad-unfriendly words so more people see and click it. It's still very ridiculous though.

What kind of world are we living in that we have to censor the words that define the very reality in which we are living and the events we are describing if we want anyone to actually see them? This is an unacceptable state of affairs and I can’t stand it anymore. This is a story about a wife plotting to murder her husband and somehow the words murder. “kill” has to be obscured in the reporting. That’s objectively insane and we should refuse to accept it. Oh and the sentences in this case are insane.
