Last night a 76-year-old man, Trompie Kruger, was brutally assaulted and held up in Kameeldrift-Oos during a violent farm attack. According to reports, there was a struggle in the kitchen and he was repeatedly struck over the head. His son later described the scene as one where there was blood everywhere, even against the kitchen cupboards. His wife and family were inside that home while this happened. Had a chat about gun control with Jeremy Vearey on RSG this AM, and he made some really good points. Firstly, that the CFR needs to be taken away from SAPS - the police are too corrupt to manage it. Second, that provinces should be able to choose their gun control legislation.
