@ZeekArkham New York legislators must take great pride in passing such laws. New York taxpayers must be so proud of this groundbreaking leadership. 😜

😳 HOLD UP…….Watch it slowed down. Dream player pretends she’s hit right in front of the ref — she blows the whistle quickly, BUT WAIT…….Watch where I zoom in on the ref’s smug/hateful look at Caitlin Clark as she protests 👀 She couldn’t hide it!! What is this @WNBA??? 🤡
HeroOfTheDay@Hero_OfThe_Day

Caitlin Clark is FURIOUS!! 👀🔥 Dream player wasn’t touched, pretends she was hit in the face, so Clark goes NUTS asking for a challenge, and her coach pretends she doesn’t see her. The refs, media, and even her own coach seemingly hate Caitlin Clark — WHY?? 🤔 #WNBA

Another Coach just told me this and I had to laugh & share. Youth sports would be a lot better if some parents just dropped their kid off and came back when the game was over. The kids aren’t the problem

@_NavyBrat My grandfather was an immigrant who got the Navy Cross in WWI. Dad was Navy in WWII. I was Navy and it paid for my college. Didn’t want my kids to do it. I would have been proud if they did, but it’s a hard life. Divorce rates are insane. I will not romanticize it to my grandkids

I too wanted to serve so badly! Even went to the Recruitment office at the Armoury in my area. Had a great talk with the Captain who was doing recruiting. He could see my passion for wanting to join, and I had great skills to offer. He wanted sign me up right there to start the process. Told him, out of respect for my Father, I needed to talk to him first. Off I went to talk to my Father - a Navy Veteran who had served 18 years. Oh boy!! Did I get blasted by him. 😂 He said, "Like hell you are, girl!" He was totally against it. Not because he didn't love the Military. But because of the time frame. It was after 9/11. He said I had no clue what it was like in the Middle East. He wasn't wrong. I had no clue of the going-ons with jihadists in the M.E at that time. He feared if I was ever captured, the things that would happen to me - as a female. He put his foot down not out of disrespecting my desire to join, but out of love and protection. I was so mad at that time though that he didn't agree with my decision. It was years later, I fully understood his reasoning and words. I'm grateful for his honesty back then. To this day, I still give him a verbal jab about it - and we laugh at how I made him blow a gasket and thought he was going to kick my butt to the moon and back. 😂🤭 I love that he loved me that much, he wanted to protect me. ❤️
Trucker Dan@TruckerDanUSA

I wanted to in the worst ways, my dad, a 31 year Veteran, talked me out of it. I had a violent temper, and he was convinced I would take offense and hurt someone badly. It hurt. But he told me the truth, and I came to appreciate that. So I hauled freight, military freight, civilian, groceries, swinging meat, oversized and hazmat.

White people need to stop calling Black people racist. By definition, we cannot be racist — we didn’t create this racial caste system. Y’all started that in Virginia in 1619. You created the system. We’re just living in it. THE MEANING OF RACISM FOR RACIST IDIOTS!

My boomer dad just told me the secret to financial success is simple. “Live below your means.” So I asked him what his mortgage payment was at 28. $340 a month. I asked what he made. $28,000 a year. His mortgage was 14% of his income. My rent is 52% of mine. He looked at me like I was making excuses. I looked at him like he was speaking a different language. Because we are. He didn’t live below his means. He lived in an era where means were actually livable. That’s not advice that’s nostalgia dressed up as wisdom.

Dear Boomers, I’m writing this because a lot of us are tired of pretending everything is fine. We grew up hearing how great things used to be. How one income could buy a house, raise kids, and still have something left over. How you could graduate high school or trade school and walk into a solid job. How communities felt safe and people actually trusted each other. We don’t have any of that. Instead we got sky-high housing prices, wages that haven’t kept up for decades, and student debt that follows us for life even if we paid back the original amount. We watch jobs in trades and manufacturing get crushed by cheap foreign labor and illegal immigration while politicians from both parties act like it’s no big deal. We see the Social Security and Medicare systems, the ones you and your parents paid into, getting stretched thinner every year as more people who paid far less into them start drawing out. We feel betrayed. You had the strongest economy in history, affordable homes, stable families, and real opportunity. Then somewhere along the way the doors were thrown open, the factories were shipped overseas, and the rules got changed so the people at the top win no matter what. Now we’re told to “just work harder” in a system that’s rigged against us. We’re not lazy. We’re not entitled. We’re exhausted from watching the ladder get pulled up after you climbed it. We want to know: When did you realize it was going this bad? And why didn’t more of you fight harder to stop it? Sincerely, A frustrated Gen Z Response at noon...

@kellytx2 Assisted living is expensive and if they don’t want it, have lived in their home a long time, it’s a tough sell. I’d start with suggesting someone to come help a few hours a week, cook, shop, clean, and maybe drive them to appointments. Was able to keep my parents in their home.

Parents are 85 and 92 and still living in their home, but I’m really starting to worry about them. I want to gently introduce assisted living, more safety, good meals, social activities, and less daily stress but I know they’ll resist. How did you successfully talk to your parents about this transition? Any tips or approaches that worked? Grateful for advice.❤️

@ZeekArkham You are just stirring it man. I want to laugh but on the other hand I’m not sure I agree with deliberately poking the race bear with this sharp a stick today. I’d love to see rhetoric dialed down as this all seems about to blow. Your show your choice. We are cool either way. 🤷‍♂️

TikTok has banned the hashtag #whitelivesmatter. It would be an absolute shame if one of you could photoshop me in a shirt that says that exact phrase so I could post it on my TikTok account. I mean… I’m a black dude wearing a shirt that has that phrase. If they take my post down and ban my account, that would be the epitome of racism, right? I’m about to get in some good trouble…

There's no reason pepper spray should be illegal. No one has ever used pepper spray to go on a killing spree. The fact that it's illegal to carry pepper spray in the UK suggests the purpose of their laws is to make it illegal to defend yourself. They want you to live in fear.

So let me get this straight... A potential juror reportedly said he didn't know if he could put "a brother" in jail simply because the defendant is Black. Then some people on social media got upset that he admitted it instead of keeping it to himself. Isn't the whole point of jury selection to identify bias? If someone says they can't be impartial because of race, I'd rather they say it out loud than sit on a jury pretending to be fair. Justice is supposed to be blind. Race shouldn't be a free pass, and it shouldn't be a conviction either. That's exactly why jurors are questioned before a trial begins.
