The Engineered Apathy: Why Kenyans Don’t Care About Macron’s Colonial Summit
Last year in October, French dictator @EmmanuelMacron was warmly received in Morocco, with streets lined by eager crowds desperate to catch a glimpse of the imperial ruler - a man whose nation has kept much of Africa in chains through puppets, state capture, and economic sabotage.
In Kenya, however, nobody knows and nobody cares about his visit.
To our credit, we weren’t always this indifferent. Ask the butcher of Benghazi, @BarackObama, whom we received like a World Cup-winning team in 2015.
But when it became glaringly obvious that Western nations - including France - are actively enabling the abductions, extrajudicial killings, and enforced disappearances of critics and dissenters, being carried out by British-backed war criminal and mass murderer William Ruto, Kenyans simply zoned out.
The red-carpet respect previously reserved for such visitors evaporated.
So before anyone wonders why there is no excitement or hullabaloo surrounding the France-Africa colonial summit in Nairobi, let them remember this:
This apathy was engineered by them.
They chose to back a blood-stained puppet instead of the Kenyan people.
The silence they’re receiving now is the direct consequence of their own choices.
