@Truthful_ast my grandad (a former NASA engineer and the guy who trained the astronauts to do the spacewalk on the hubble) always used to joke that we spent more government money on the plumbing to fix the toilets at the NASA offices than we did on the rockets themselves

@BecomingCaptain it's really more about the enjoying the process for me. I don't realistically expect to make indie-game development a full time job, part of me never wants to finish this game bc I love seeing it improve and I know I can always do better. but I still totally get what you mean

@RobinPoedev Most 3D games combine hard key framed animation with "procedural" (barely) ik rigging to interact with the environment in real time. There's an extremely large separation between this and what physics based procedural animation actually is.

@RobinPoedev Respectfully, this is just factually incorrect. This is average ik usage that has been used in 3D games since the early 2000s and in every 3D animated film since toy story. It's one of the first you learn in rigging and even in 3D game dev if you want realism...

Seen this line a lot, it kinda emphasizes a misunderstanding with what is being shown. Everything about this program from the model to the movement was specified, curated by human being. It’s AI, but only in the same way a Dark souls Boss is AI
