@JonahDispatch I think everyone supports voter ID and laws that require that only citizens can vote. But the issue is, what form of ID is going to be acceptable at the polls, especially for CURRENTLY registered voters.

I am in favor of voter ID. I’m more troubled by the proof of citizenship requirement, not because I think non-citizens should be able to vote, but because those requirements can be unfairly onerous. None of the situations described here require proof of citizenship.

It sounds like an honest mistake. For a while I put “Apollo 11 crew member” on my resume but after a while people started asking questions and I remembered I hadn’t actually launched into lunar orbit on the Saturn V rocket. My bad . Mistakes happen from time to time.

To the military vets: what do you make of Wes Moore’s claim that he thought he’d been awarded the bronze star when he hadn’t? Is this smthg one could be confused about? Isn’t there a ceremony &an actual medal? Is it possible to think you got it but that they skipped those things?
