“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” – A. A. Milne As we mark the 100th anniversary of the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh stories, The Queen has presented a very special gift to the New York Public Library, reuniting baby Roo with his friends from the 100 Acre Wood. The Library is home to the original collection of toys owned by Christopher Robin Milne, son of A.A. Milne, which inspired the characters in the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh series. The collection is missing Roo, the baby kangaroo who was lost in an orchard in the 1930s. The new addition of Roo was created by Shropshire-based company Merrythought, who also created the original toys. 👀 Watch Roo’s great adventure travelling from Buckingham Palace onboard Their Majesties’ flight to his new home in New York.

@FoxNews I have visited the American Cemeteries in Normandy, France and Cambridge, UK as well as the other sites honoring US and European soldiers who died in WWII. The reverence and gratitude of our European allies for our fallen is real, moving, unparalleled.

@GeraldoRivera Perspective please- A ballroom for Washington elites won't protect average Americans from violence in schools, churches, malls, etc. I'm grateful that law enforcement, and the strategy they had in place, worked to protect everyone but US violence won't be solved by WH ballroom.

Build the Ballroom. I felt I was watching Designated Survivor. Virtually the entire line of presidential succession was in that lame Hilton space. Way too freaky dangerous. Build the Ballroom.

@ScottJenningsKY My understanding is that DHS has received temporary funding while a more long term funding agreement is reached. Everyone is getting paid and, thankfully, doing their jobs while Congress fiddles (and also gets paid).

I've been on the air live twice now when someone has tried to kill the President. I worry about President Trump every day. I worry about these events. The fact that DHS has been unfunded for 70 days in this environment is outrageous. Every American should be outraged by it.

@MaxLewisTV @charlesharriso5 Republicans cried foul when Dems tried to this in other states. Mid-census redistricting is an effort by politicians for politicians. Power play that does nothing to lower bills, provide services, keep us safe. Nothing.

On December 11th 2025, the spineless Indiana GOP fcked us and voted 31-19 against redistricting. Never forget.

@LangmanVince You should come here. We are actually very sensible people. But GOP and Dems should keep fighting for an effort that is for and by the DC politicians and see how that works out.

What’s funny about all this gerrymandering talk is that we’re fighting over which party controls a legislative branch that doesn’t actually legislate anymore.

@JohnFeehery It's complicated. 1. Voters on both sides of the aisle don't like mid-census redistricting. 2. You can't be for it when it helps you, against it when it doesn't. Voters see through this. 3. Independents matter. They call the shots between winners and loses. They don't like it.

@jpodhoretz @AriFleischer The big problem here for both parties: this is a political exercise to help politicians. Redistricting does not help a single American with any of the problems they are worried about. In case you were wondering.

I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. Previous fights involved census apportionment, in NC and NY--maps were aggressive and courts got involved. Texas introduced Calvinball.
Guy Benson@guypbenson

Indeed, the “Texas started it” premise is incorrect (plus CA already answered). NY Dems went before TX (see below), to say nothing of the wild existing Dem gerrymanders in places like IL & MD. And to say nothing of admitted 2020 Census miscounts robbing red states of 6-10 seats.

Just so you get the truth and not the partisan spin here, Republicans came up with the idea of the mid-decade redistricting fight and started in Texas. Then, in Virginia, the RNC spent $0.00 to fight. Now, as drawn, the Democrats have an advantage from the redistricting fight.

Tonight is a good night to repeat what I said last August when Texas started this mid-cycle redistricting chain reaction. Politics has to be more than a power grab. By either party. There have to be rules that everyone follows. Otherwise, it’s all about power and pretty soon there won’t be much left that holds our nation together.
Ari Fleischer@AriFleischer

I want to win 5 more seats in the House. But mid-census change in Texas is not the way to do it. Even politics must have rules. Gerrymandering should be done once every ten years - by all states. Otherwise, there are no rules and it’s the equivalent of all- out, political wars all the time - simply to gain power. No state should gerrymander until 2032, including Texas. It’s fair to everyone this way. Even politics should be conducted in a fair manner.
