Indiana’s farmers and producers should not be bound by California’s untenable laws. Hoosiers should only have to comply with the production standards in their own state, NOT far-off California. I’m proud the 2026 Farm Bill provides a much-needed fix to California’s Proposition 12 and restores agricultural control back to the state and local levels where it belongs.

I attended the seventh anniversary celebration for @BipartisanVets. The caucus is a bipartisan group of veterans who bring an upright voice to a consistently divided political world. From establishing the Global War on Terrorism Memorial to increasing American biotech leadership, I’m proud to work with the For Country Caucus to support our brave service members and protect our national security.

Parents should be able to pass their farms on to their children and grandchildren without facing devastating tax burdens. That’s why the Working Families Tax Cuts made permanent and increased the Death Tax exemption for over two million family farms, helping preserve family businesses and farms for future generations. I will continue to ensure Hoosier farmers keep what’s theirs.

The Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 ensures everyone has affordable food and full shelves at the grocery store. From the farmer’s field to your table, there are a lot of moving parts and expenses. This Farm Bill aims to give farmers certainty for their businesses and lower costs. This will provide Americans with access to affordable food and create a thriving agricultural economy.

My heart breaks for the family of Captain Seth Koval of Mooresville, Indiana, who died while serving in Operation Epic Fury. Captain Koval represented the very best of Indiana and our nation, and he served our country honorably.

I had the honor of calling a student who was accepted into the U.S. Air Force Academy. It is one of the best parts of my job to congratulate these young leaders.

I joined @GovBraun in Northwest Indiana today to tour the damage caused by the tornados this week. It was heartbreaking to see people's lives uprooted by these terrible storms. I am beyond thankful for our first responders who are continuing to keep people safe throughout the area. My thoughts are with everyone who was impacted and I am diligently working with federal, state, and local officials to help our communities recover.

I am so glad to have joined everyone in Danville for their Chamber of Commerce meeting. Getting to hear from constituents is the best part of my day and what makes me a better representative in Washington. Thank you!
