The Always Drinking Marching Band arrived for @waterfordspraoi this weekend with a broken instrument. Went to @ScrewfixIreland where lovely staff got them some plumbing bits n bobs. After quick repairs they played a tune for staff and customers 🎷🎺🥁 #Waterford

@ScrewfixIreland This is the issue I was referring to with the blade.

@ScrewfixIreland I'm thinking about buying this and I was wondering if there is a better blade for sale than the one that comes with it. I've watched a few videos on YouTube about this saw and there is a bit of deflection when cutting thicker pieces.

@ScrewfixIreland Do you have a replacement blade for the bandsaw in stock.

@nigelray8 The Cutting Depth Capacity is 80mm and the Throat Depth is 230mm. Thus the maximum size that can be cutin theory is 80 x 230mm (thickness x width) without the rip fence in place. With the rip fence in place, the width will be less. Hope that helps. 😊 - Meadow

@ScrewfixIreland I'm just going to be cutting wood some will be thicker than others I'm just looking for the blade that won't cause the deflection I've seen.

@nigelray8 Hi Nigel, it depends on what you we're using this for. This product can be used for 'scroll cutting, various straight line cutting operations and circle cutting of wood and wood composition products' - product code 6097R cuts metal if that's what you needed instead 🙂 - Meadow

It's a pity that @ScrewfixIreland has become largely useless. It was so handy being able to order something and pop in to pick it up immediately. Recently, everything has switched to collect in 2 to 3 days.

Unbelievable. @ScrewfixIreland and @Halfords_uk in Ireland have no working method of speaking to them to find out if they have an item in stock. 70 mile round trip on a chance? Fucked if I do and fucked if I don't.

@ScrewfixIreland @Screwfix to the nearest store that has it. It's a waste of time and fuel to arrive and find it's been sold TBHWY. UK customer service rang the store and had it set aside, but this really wants a proper solution.

On hold with @Screwfix because @ScrewfixIreland aren't in any way integrated. Which is great when you're in Cavan with the nearest store in Enniskillen. Find a way to put a hold on stock lads, FFS.
