Really poor service from @easyJet. 5 hour delay in Hurghada that just keeps increasing and no information from anyone. No email or text. Looking like I’ll end up missing an overnight self connection at this point.

@icaras2048 @kemstr Two of three platforms at GCD are a no go. You could in theory run Sydney Parade-Bray/Greystones today using the signalling in place but with trains alternating sides, its been done before Much easier if they hadn't removed the crossovers at Merrion 20 years ago

@doher84217 @IrishRail The early Sligo train is 5-10 minutes late at Longford almost every morning. This knocks on through the day making the evening trains 5-10 minutes late every night and even later some nights. Obviously issues happen now and again but there is no excuse for every day.

Yet another @IrishRail passenger fainting on the overcrowded 07:50 commuter train from Athenry to Galway. Almost daily occurrence now. Zero regard for paying commuters

214 occurrences of a train leaving a station more than a minute early yesterday, just between Dublin Connolly and Greystones. 11 occurrence of a train leaving more than 5 minutes early It's bad enough the trains are constantly late, leaving early is unacceptable

@MikeMcKillen This is a fundamental issue with roundabouts and bikes. I came very close to getting hit in a very similar way at a roundabout a few weeks back because the driver was looking for a gap in traffic on the roundabout instead of right ahead of them.

A trained and licensed motorist perfectly applies the knowledge they have gained through studying the Highway Code (something that cyclists don't do) while executing an overtaking manoeuvre

@Firmordana @DublinCommuters I don't know if you cycle regularly, but a lot of cycle lanes don't really work. The cycle lane I use regularly on the Old Cabra Road bears a passing resemblance to the surface of the moon.

@DublinCommuters Cyclists should have their bicycles seized if found to be cycling on a roadway when there is a cycle lane available. And they should be obliged to wear high viz day and night, even when they aren't cycling so that people can identify them as cyclists and stear clear.

“Cycling is a safe activity, so is walking on a footpath in your own community” The continuous on-again, off-again position from the Ministers’ for Transport about mandatory hi-vis & helmets needs to stop They just need to deliver safe active travel infrastructure

@DublinCommuters There is just a complete lack of enforcement for everything. @Deliveroo riders on "ebikes", Ninjas on escooters, cars running red lights, dangerous parking - none of it is ever enforced. I've not been stopped for anything other than a road tax check for at least 15 years.

@RailUsersIe There seems to be a 22k set on Sligo with an inoperative booking display system for the last couple of weeks. Either that or they've just gotten a lot lazier about entering the data. Causes all kinds of issues on the 1705 down.

@IrishRail The 1705 to Sligo is operating well within Irish parameters of timekeeping and delays.. Congratulations Questions : Do all the unclaimed refunds for the regularly failing (yes today, once more " seat booking system go to a charitable cause or straight into @IrishRail © coffers?

If they’re talking about illegal eScooters & Bikes, there are laws that simply need to be enforced If they’re talking about requiring helmets & hi-vis jackets for bikes & legal eScooters…. It will be vehemently opposed by us, campaigners & bike share companies

@DublinCommuters For whatever reason @gardainfo is either unwilling or unable to enforce a wide range of traffic laws. I suspect the ease with which this stuff can be taken to court without any extra penalty has something to do with it.
