I've seen some say the judge in the #AdnanSyed case relied on what was stated in the joint motion and not the evidence. That's incorrect. Her order clearly states that she conducted an in camera review of the evidence:

I need to listen to the @serial update this morning. Is it true that the State said the alternate suspect who threatened to kill Hae had motive, means, and OPPORTUNITY to kill her? If that's true & there's evidence of opportunity, that's a game changer.

It's still sinking in. The State knew an alternate suspect said “he would make her [Hae] disappear. He would kill her,” & they didn't disclose it to the defense. As a result, an innocent high school student was wrongfully convicted & imprisoned for 23 years. #freeadnan

Christopher Flohr just walked out of the courthouse sobbing. He was one of Syed’s original attorneys after his arrest and at his bail review
