@BoardwalkTimes That's not the original concept for DisneySky. The concept is: DisneySea tricks the mind into thinking you are in water that's deeper than it actually is, when technology progresses we'll be able to trick the mind into thinking you are much higher up than you actually are.

There have been discussions that plans for Tokyo DisneySky (Tokyo Disney Resort's third gate) are back on the table. The park would be sky and space-themed, and according to 2018 rumors, would feature franchises like STAR WARS, AVATAR, TRON, and Marvel. (thewrap.com/creative-conte…)

Me asking Walt to explain what happened to his #Epcot. BTW, Walt was still warm from sitting unshaded in the Florida sun. Not good for a 124 year old man.

‘A whole civilization will die tonight’ is not something that should ever be said by someone holding the nuclear codes. How is it possible that anyone is defending this rhetoric? It’s just wrong, period.

@BrianRoemmele All of the buildings people miss most were designed with a pencil and paper. It's the ones designed with a computer that nobody cares about.

Idea for a Log Flume. Kermit the Frog's Rainbow Connection. Based on the scene from the Muppet Movie where Kermit floats on a log and sings Rainbow Connection. The final drop travels through an artificial rainbow, the technology for which already exists. youtu.be/WS3Lkc6Gzlk

@MattCoasters @SplashMHS @tarynewyss And now I realize that Kermit is floating on a log in the scene. What an unlikely connection. Kermits Rainbow Connection might make for a good log flume too.

you’re right Splash Mountain being based on Song of the South was in no way controversial or politically charged, which is why you can still ride it in the US parks today!
One of Those Splash People@SplashFan2000

Wanting to make a ride inspired by a movie that lends itself well to a log flume is not in any way political. Not everything is about politics and not everything has some kind of deep sinister intent behind it. I am so sick of this purity test bullshit, just let artists create.

@JimShull @DimensionParcs People seem to be posting a lot of pictures from The Making of Disney Adventure World book. I don't have the book but I suspect these are from it.

@SplashMHS @tarynewyss I'm sorry if it seemed like I was implying you were arguing in a negative way. I don't think you are. Arguing can just mean "making your case". It's hard to explain, but I know the ride will return in 2032. No convincing of anyone will be necessary.

@TheLocode @tarynewyss I don’t like arguing at all, I think this topic needs such nuanced discussion that arguing is irresponsible. I get why some might engage in arguments due to how they have been mistreated, but I am not one of those people.

@SplashMHS @tarynewyss When I was little in the 80's I had a book of different Disney stories. My favorite was Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby. I really identified with Brer Rabbit. Race didn't cross my mind as part of the story. Some people can't think for themselves. Arguing with them goes nowhere.

@tarynewyss I understand your perspective but it was not considered controversial until 2020. The NAACP and multiple Black people including Nick Stewart, Disney’s first Black actor, worked in the project.

Seems like new painted graphics are complete on the car outside Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Could be a high-gloss, long-lasting, clear sealant will be applied next.

I have a small safety concern with Raiponce Tangled Spin that keeps nagging me. In one video, a woman's scarf is seen hanging out of the gap below the door. In the other teacups rides the saucer prevents such articles from coming in contact with the mechanisms. Fill in the gap?

@seanonolennon Sometimes somebody incarnates on Earth with a mission. When that happens people subconsciously respond to them. Their mission is to begin the introduction of new quarter-step music styles to Earth rock music now that we've already done so much of what's possible with half-steps.

I have never seen a weird instrumental band go viral like Angine de Poitrine. Never see anything like it. It’s totally wild. For the last three months everyone I know has sent me their video at least once. Good for them but also wtf is happening?

@daveleedwnundr Thanks! Appreciated! (The technology in question is a pencil. I've learned that it used to be used to design everything. When people post about missing the old logos and restaurant designs and so on, they always miss the ones that were designed with a pencil.)

On absolute no glance does this “feel like Looney Tunes” OR “Fleischer-era animation” (whatever the hell that means, given that the two were co-existant). AI slop immediately detected.
OscarAI@Artedeingenio

Being able to recreate this classic American cartoon style (Golden Age animation) is kind of mind-blowing. At first glance it feels like Looney Tunes… but it’s actually closer to Fleischer-era animation: more organic, more surreal, and beautifully imperfect. This is something you can only do with Midjourney and Seedance 2.0, and I use @TopviewAIhq for it. If you’re interested, there’s more info in the link in my bio.
