Definitely not the ghost of Winston Churchill demonically possessing the Washington Monument. I was going to use Gandhi's pic, but it turns out he was a racist.

@Triplekiller51 @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk Holy shit, you think the point of the movie is to determine if humanity deserves superman?
Actual lol. You didn't get it at all. Like not at all
English

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk It's all good that you Gunn fans can't accept the messaging in the movie about fatherly sacrifice for their child.
Finding your purpose and where you come from.
Determining if humanity deserves Superman.
It's a little more deep than sex harems, crappy jokes and needle drops.
English

If you ever feel dumb, just remember that people watched Zod slice this building apart with his heat vision but somehow blamed Clark

Man of Steel (2013)
English

@Dante31654401 Bro, it's ok if you didn't like the movie. Stop posting unflattering pictures of the actress to be mean.
English

@lelanionblanc @Richard_Harambe "She looks incredible for her age" is legitimately a meaner insult than calling her a 6. Lol
English

@Richard_Harambe The way you’ve been obsessively tweeting about it shows you’re actually jealous and you must believe she’s a 10 (she is). She looks incredible for her age
English

Alcott was only cast because Gunn and others involved in selecting her thought she was above the level of attractiveness needed for the role.
If she had been fat or more buck-toothed, they would have rejected her. If they had cast someone like that, you'd fully understand it bombing.
A lot of that discourse is gross, but don't pretend looks are irrelevant to the film's success.
English

@Triplekiller51 @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk Um, him saving people literally led to his identity being discovered by a reporter.
It's amazing how the most die-hard Snyder fans have the most superficial understanding of the movie
English

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk You just see what you want to see when people literally write it out don't you? Notice how he saved people when he could and nobody could still confirm he was a real thing? Can't really run from Smallville once your secret is out & everyone knows Clark is an alien.
English

@Triplekiller51 @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk So you agree him revealing his powers to save his classmates was right. Lol - you gave up pretty easy.
It's OK. If it makes you feel better, all you're finally doing is getting Snyder's message.
English

@BlackMajikMan90 Not true at all. Even the positive reviews and word of mouth pretty much all say it's meh.
If the consensus was that it was great, it would be a hit.
English

Supergirl not being number 1 in any market has nothing to do about the reception of the film or the weird, sexist discourse.
No, it’s deeper than that.
It’s proof that viewership habits are changing.
Every comic book movie going forward (whether it’s Marvel or DC) has to be an event or starring a well known character with crossovers.
Audiences are done with simple comic book movie blockbusters starring unpopular characters.

English

@GooberBoober42 @PeachyEXP I hate to be the one to tell you that "pretty alright" is not going to get people to spend money in the theaters.
Misogyny has nothing to do with it. Your own review tells me to stay home.
English

@PeachyEXP Bro I AM THE AUDIENCE FOR THIS.
Everyone who I’ve seen that’s not a misogynist has said the movie was pretty damn alright. Myself thinking that included. I really don’t understand the hate wave that this movies been receiving.
English

Please let this movie make over 200M. Please. It deserves it.
The Hollywood Handle@HollywoodHandle
‘SUPERGIRL’ crossed $79M globally only so far. Budget was $180M.
English

@Triplekiller51 @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk So you're saying he should have let those kids, the oil riggers and Lois die.
Well, that would have made for a very different movie. No wonder people say you Snyder-bots are psychopaths.
English

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk Riiight because because the announcement of aliens didn't have the government and the news going crazy smh.
Johnathan was right. The scene might not have been what you would do but it's what a farmer from who cared more about his son than the world would do. Clark was his world
English

You're a dunce. The entire message of MoS was that Jonathan was wrong.
Clark was right to save his classmates. He was right to save the oil riggers. He was right to save Lois from the security on the Kryptonian ship. He was right to fight the kryptonians in Smallville.
All of those things revealed his powers to the world and some exposed his identity, but Snyder is clear that is better than letting people die.
Johnathan died for nothing.
English

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk It's ok little bitch. It didnt take you long to start calling people names. Typical Gunn cuck. You can't understand the basic concept of fatherhood and sacrifice for your loved ones. You just want the corniest repeated Uncle Ben story trope over and over again.
English

@dabuddha99 @KishanNavadiya4 Remember when "Superman" de-powered General Zod, crushed his bones to dust, and threw him into an ice crevice to die?
Remember when "Superman" killed his own clone, confused and controlled by an evil scientist, by throwing him into a black hole?
English

@KishanNavadiya4 Remember when “Superman” destroyed Metropolis AND Smallville, then snapped Zoe’s neck?!
English

It still amazes me that Henry Cavill's Superman was supposed to resist Darkseid's control through the Anti Life Equation in Justice League Part 3 after Batman finally saved Lois Lane by reversing time in Part 2.
That moment would've ended the "most powerful Superman" debate once and for all🤷💯

English

They are both already in the path of the tornado, you nitwit. Literally standing next to each other. Just say you didn't watch it.
The question is who should immediately go with the other people to the overpass, and who should get the dog. Neither act is supposed to result in death.
Only Johnathan dies though, because he gets stuck and doesn't have the strength to free himself.
If he had gone ahead and Clark gotten the dog , both would have been fine. Sending the old man along while letting the invulnerable being deal with the riskier situation is common sense - something the movie lacked.
English

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk Like I said. If you send you child into the path of a on coming tornado, you're doing your job as a father wrong.
English

@Triplekiller51 @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk Huh? He doesn't need to reveal anything. Just get the dog and run back at normal speed to the overpass.
English

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk Dont get unhinged. Doesnt matter if he's invulnerable. The point is to keep his secret safe. By doing so he sacraficed himself to do just that. Its not about what Clark can do its about what he should do. He should listen to his father and reveal himself when hes needed most.
English

@Triplekiller51 @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk He's invulnerable. Did you forget what we're talking about?
English

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk If you send your highschool son into the path of a tornado. You're doing your job as a father wrong.
English

@JoeMish3 @FlamedLizard26 @VandalMonkey He’s not killing anyone in those comics dumbass. And he only kills if it’s 100% unavoidable and necessary. He killed people pointlesly in BvS and tried to kill Superman for LITERALLY NO REASON
English

BvS is about a Year Two Superman learning to accept and deal with the unintended consequences of his actions. Doomsday is the consequence of killing Zod. It's his responsibility. Superman would NEVER ask someone to take the hit for him. You don't know shit about Superman
IDarienZ 🐼@IDarienZ
English

@VandalMonkey @JoeMish3 Just because it’s his story in the movie doesn’t make it an accurate rendition of the character. Batman has to be depicted faithfully to how he is in the comics, which BvS didn’t do at all.
English

@erikaWho_ @ManneredReport I don't know why there's so much hate for that movie. "Jimmy Olsen and the Justice Gang" was a pretty good flick. Even had some cool Superman cameos.
English

Fiction and etc@Fictiontokk
Henry's Superman was just as human as David's and yes I'll debate anyone about it.
Español

@KishanNavadiya4 No one would let him near those properties again. It's done.
English

@lenaskzorel Gunn's Superman established that if Kara really went into space and screamed all of the air out of her lungs, she would suffocate and die though.
English

@Triplekiller51 @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk If either of them had half a brain, they would have had Johnathan help the people back while Clark grabbed the dog. Clark wouldn't have gotten stuck and could have gotten back to the overpass without using powers.
English

@JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk How was he supposed to save him? Superman can't use comic book super speed with humans in this universe. It's called physics.
English
