@DWLundberg Without acknowledging that it is actually a sith. Windu literally says “I do not believe the sith could have returned without us knowing” and they call it a mystery not taking Qui gon and his evaluation seriously. I hope this helps.

@TheEricGoldman that’s untrue cause you could put literally any other character in his stead and it wouldn’t change at all. He’s just a plot device to move the story along, Vader was the real importance to the plot of Solo being captured cause he orchestrated it.

One of the craziest things about The Empire Strikes Back is how Boba Fett is in the film but if you never watched The Star Wars Holiday Special, you would never know what his name is.

One of the craziest things about Mandalorian & Grogu is how Zeb is in the film but if you never watched Rebels, you would never know what his name is They call him Zeb in the middle of the film once but this is after we have seen him for multiple scenes It’s dumb

But seriously, this happened a lot in the original trilogy. We only knew names like Lobot, Salacious Crumb, and Nien Nunb because of the action figures and books.
