people who die on the hill of defending politicians misconduct are the lowest of the low. we elect these people to represent us. we pay their fucking salaries. their power is only so much that they are public servants, tasked to fulfill the needs of the people they are *supposed* to be representing. when they fail to do so because they abuse that power to serve their individual desires, then they need to face the consequences
