If you're looking for a take on @newhumanitarian piece on cash vs fintech and digital surveillance in aid, this is the only good one I've seen thus far. The whole piece applies only where people have equal unfettered access to all or most assets management options

@paulcurrion Financial surveillance is dangerous fully agreeed. But it is paternalistic to decide on behalf of vulnerable people whether they should participate in the global financial system or not. You and I get to decide. Why shouldn’t they? Focus on consent not on making choices for them
