@btharris93 Let's not forget that Americans overwhelming voted for him... and we knew what he was going to do. He's certainly not a 'Russian agent', but probably doesn't care who he makes deals with... just make a deal and keep it.

I don’t necessarily think Trump is a literal Russian agent, but it interesting how many of his natural and most strongly held impulses just happen to align with Russian interests, often at the expense of American interests.

McConnell & Coons issue joint statement saying the U.S. "will remain" a part of NATO: “Alliance disputes are as old as the alliance itself. Americans are safer when NATO is strong and united. It is in our interest for all allies to tend this unity with care." "United States joined NATO in 1949 when the Senate voted to ratify the NATO treaty, and the United States will remain in it. The Senate will continue to support the alliance for the peace and protection it provides America, Europe, and the World.”

@jweavo @alfredodingdong @authorpattaylor @campbellclaret Yay! We are in agreement as far as the US leaving those across the pond to your own fates. Your destruction from within is pretty much guaranteed in the next 20 years, anyway. There is nothing the US can do to help you all. So we may as well go our separate ways.

The US pulling out of NATO was part of the plan all along ... Putin’s plan that is. He just got lucky with who he helped to make US president. It really is time for Europe to get serious about the withdrawal of the US from credible global leadership or reliable alliance

@jweavo @wog_poly22719 @alfredodingdong @campbellclaret Not anytime soon. Rubio and Vance have the next decade locked up. The Dems are like you Euros; obviously incompetent. Trump defeated them soundly; no comeback in the near future. Get used to the new Global Order...

@SocialMike @campbellclaret Well, they have a war going on a few hours' drive east, so we understand. No one in America sees Poland as anything other than an ally. We'll soon be pumping LNG into Świnoujście Terminal so they can be the energy hub in the 'new Europe'... so they'll behave. 🙂 No worries.

No, Putin doesn't get credit. We (as Americans) just see it for what it is: an alliance with cowards that won't pay their fair share ... to protect their own countries. The only real ally is Poland, and we'll set them up as the LNG hub for those of you in need. We have plenty of everything. No worries. Now go make something of value.

@jimsciutto The problem people like @jimsciutto are going to have is how to find cogent ways to argue Trump is wrong or this is a bad idea. Good luck with that! I voted against Trump in all three of his elections, I used to believe he would kill NATO for Russia, & I now support it. Why not?

By law, he can’t do it without Congress. But as commander in chief with authority to deploy forces abroad to enforce Article 5, he can do so in effect. That would certainly be the way Russia would interpret it.

President Donald Trump rattled NATO allies today, as he strongly suggested that the U.S. was weighing whether to pull out of the transatlantic military alliance. politico.eu/article/us-don…

True that we don't want high prices, but we still don't rely on the Strait. Neither does your country. It's only because oil is a global commodity that prices are fluctuating on this side of the world. Nothing to see. We already know the files have hit almost all Democrats, and only because of their continued association with Epstein after it was known what he was. It looks like the attorney for many of the victims was correct:

Told you. This would be a militarily weaker Iran, but an Iran still standing in the face of the US, choking the world's oil and other vital resources, earning at least double what it earned pre-war from its own oil sales and perhaps still bombing its neighbours.

@thubeauv @EdKrassen @WhiteHouse @grok Wrong question. The US doesn't need the Strait of Hormuz, but the UK does. Yet, they don't want to fight for it; instead, they try to get the US to do everything for them. Although I'll give Europe credit for seeing "the light" so quickly.

@alfredodingdong @jaybirdsatx @BarakRavid Let’s also not ignore that the Clinton campaign literally hired a foreign national and former spy to make contacts w/Russian and Ukrainian officials to find dirt on Trump. How’s that not meddling and collusion by all meanings of the words? Yet no probe. Why? 2/end

🚨🚨Trump on Truth Social: All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: Number 1, buy from the U.S., we have plenty, and Number 2, build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT. You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us. Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil!
