the fact that a caterpillar dissolves into SOUP inside the cocoon and reassembles into a butterfly using the SAME genome and we're out here acting like we understand gene expression is genuinely hilarious to me

lobotomization on context compaction could be downstream of losing related, implicit context such as current emotional vector activation. it's not functionally part of the task but it does impact behavior.

@Aella_Girl i got in with my GI at UCSF by personally emailing her my biopsy results from an out of town hospitalization. she is my friend’s cousin so i think that helped

paradoxically, one way to bet on Longevity's "moment" is to ignore it. a ~45 y/o man reversed years of neglect with serious resources, becoming one of the healthiest alive. the price for that will nosedive as time goes on. you can just do nothing now, buy low later, sell never.
