@00Kaleb5ive @darryllhamilton @SCHANUEL_SZN Mostly agree. But there are a number of teams I think he’d be the best player on, without banking on a prospect to immediately be a superstar. White Sox, Rockies, Marlins, Cardinals seem clear. They’re also bad, which is why I’m with you that he shouldn’t necessarily be “the guy”

@jowole1216 @notgaetti eh FIP does it’s job well enough imo, they performed similarly, fried got hit harder and struck out less guys, they walked the same amount but fried had a 100% LOB%, if your pitcher limits hard contact you live with the results

Remember on Opening Day when Max Fried threw 6.1 shutout innings and Logan Webb gave up 6 earned over 5 innings for an ERA of 10.80?
Yeah well somehow that translated into a higher fWAR for Webb than Fried.

@samwilsonfiles @PotterWorldW Agreed. I feel like some of the opening Hogwarts scenes feel like uncharted waters still which is reflected in the color. As the series goes on I can see them warming up the castle and then making it dark again when necessary for contrast.

Also they make HVAC systems, and the only reason I know that is because I looked it up when they got the naming rights, so maybe the marketing is decent.

@GunnerDobbins I think he's almost perfectly cast. As an actor Lithgow can do menacing but can also be cheerful and kind. He should be able to capture all the dimensions of Dumbledore effectively.
Now if only the other castings were good...

It’s not following the same trend as shutouts, because it’s a different kind of personal accomplishment
