@grandazz @unistyler @diegohaz I work on the Messenger team at Intercom 👋 It sounds like you want to integrate a live Messenger - is that for testing a specificfix or as a permanent example? And to double check, you need the full open Messenger experience, not just the launcher, right?

@darraghcurran @dsingleton @eoghan @intercom So my engineer and I both tested the snippet and it did not have the desired result, but I've shared this tweet with him so he can share feedback. We even tried some strategies from @ChatGPT that worked temporarily but not on all devices and then defaulted after a few reloads 🤔

@darraghcurran @PolicyRiot @eoghan @intercom Definitely not my intent! I was trying to find a term to contrast to 'Document-y', in terms of visual design conventions. Documents tend to be something sparse pass through, with Apps being something denser you spend a lot more time in, thats my experience of PWAs at least 👍

@PolicyRiot @darraghcurran @eoghan @intercom I'm totally with you as an advocate of PWAs, and it is really annoying in that case. There's a challenge where different customers have different expectations of how positioning on mobile web should work - and some folks will be relying on the current behaviour unfortunately.

@PolicyRiot @darraghcurran @eoghan @intercom Hey Michael 👋 I work on the Messenger and have a quick fix - can you give this snippet of CSS a go and let me know? gist.github.com/dsingleton/24d… You'll need to tweak the positioning values to your needs and include your MQ breakpoint (if you don't want it to affect desktop too)
