During Passover, Jews around the world are still marking the holiday of freedom. But this week also carries memory. In 2002, in Netanya 🇮🇱, a Hamas-affiliated terrorist disguised as a woman walked into a Passover Seder at the Park Hotel and detonated himself in a dining room where around 250 civilians were gathered to celebrate the holiday. 30 Israeli civilians were murdered and 140 were injured. This was the Second Intifada. So when people say “globalize the Intifada,” this is exactly what they mean.

I was taking the kids from tennis class. They finished but had to wait for me 5 minutes until I finished chess game on my phone. Then when I started driving, the phone yelled warning. We turned back and went to the shelter at the tennis club. There we heard enormous explosions, the loudest we've ever heard. And then we discovered that it fell where we were supposed to be, if I wasn't playing chess and just started driving without delay. Probably the chess just saved our lives. There are people injured, elderly people and a baby.

All I have to say about Ben Gvir is this: When the Jews of Egypt were finally freed, they started to praise God when the Egyptians, who charged after them trying to re-enslave them, were drowned in the sea. God chastised them, and to this day, we spill a little wine out of our cups at the Seder to remember to have empathy and pity - even if it is our enemies being destroyed. We are not supposed to be pacifists. But neither are we supposed to cheer at the downfall of men - any men - all whom are created in the image of God. Have a death penalty for terrorists. Don't have a death penalty for terrorists. For me - the conversation SHOULD have been about this worthy debate. Instead, we're all rightfully distracted by the disgusting and disturbing actions of a man who pops open champagne and wears a pin of a noose to celebrate the death penalty. Lest you think most Israelis support this inhumanity, I will remind you that Ben Gvir was banned from serving in the IDF, and has 13 criminal convictions. Every country has more than a few politicians worthy of being embarrassed of. Ben Gvir is one of Israel's.

This is a very tight limited death penalty for the very worst terrorists... The people who blow up buses and ram cars into school kids. And yet Pakistani blasphemy laws, used broadly against any Christian with little or any opportunity for defense of the chargers, that you've said almost nothing in twenty years.

This is what happens when one of the following goes to no. 10: An Israeli official. = Mass protests. President Trump. = Mass protests. Syrian President Ahmed al‑Sharaa, a man who led Al-Qaeda, anti-Christian pogroms and killed hundreds of thousands of civilians. = No protests.
